Indeed, an MRI revealed a hip libral tear as your website indicated might be my problem. I found alternative ways to apply necessary heat to the affected area but I have found the Cold Pack to be a wonderful aid in concentrating ice cold pressure where needed. I was earlier diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis which migrated to a sciatic condition on the opposite side of the libral tear. So being able to simply move the Cold Pack from 'tear', to lower back, to left hip when needed is a God-send and usually one ice pack (three were sent to me) is enough to maintain the cold in one application. Living here in the desert of Palm Springs, the Cold Pack was very effective even during hot weather. I could go about my chores without thinking about the device except to reposition it.
