Role in Study 13

Co-author of Study 13, a dose-response study in 120 mature New Zealand rabbits with standard partial patellectomies in which twice-daily low-intensity pulsed ultrasound stimulation produced more new bone formation and mineralization, a better histological interface, and significantly improved biomechanical properties than once-daily treatment or control. See Study 13: Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound Stimulation for Tendon-Bone Healing (American Journal of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, 2018; PMID 29016398).
